The Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation (BSMT) is a professional program focused on the study of navigation, cargo handling and stowage, and the safe operation of ships. It also emphasizes the care and management of people onboard at the operational level. The program consists of three years of academic study, followed by a one-year cadetship onboard a vessel, providing hands-on training and real-world maritime experience.
