In accordance with a mutual desire to promote cooperation between Meiho University and OLFU, the two institutions agree to enter into a formal Memorandum of Understanding for the purpose of scientific and cultural exchange. The two institutions have mutually agreed to initiate a cooperative in areas of mutual interests for the following purposes:
* Exchange of faculty scholars and students for lecturing advanced studies and research.
* Exchange of information theses, teaching materials and other technological and scientific literature.
* Cooperation on scientific and technological research.
* Organization of bilateral joint symposia, workshops, and conferences.
