Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) produced a national Top 10 finisher and 2,908 newly licensed nurses in the August–September 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE). The figure accounts for 10.15 percent of all successful examinees nationwide.
Alessandra Marie E. Peña, RN, an OLFU Valenzuela alumna, earned a 90.40 percent rating to share 10th place nationwide. Her finish gives OLFU another national Top 10 result in the nursing boards.
OLFU also posted strong results across its campuses. OLFU Antipolo recorded a 90.95 percent passing rate, while OLFU Nueva Ecija posted 78.84 percent. Both exceeded the 76.74 percent national passing rate.
Among first-time examinees, OLFU Antipolo achieved a 93.14 percent passing rate, surpassing the 85.81 percent national passing rate for first-time takers.
OLFU campuses surpass national passing rate
The latest performance builds on OLFU’s strong showing in previous nursing licensure examinations. In the November 2025 NLE, the University produced 10 national topnotchers and 3,467 newly licensed nurses, marking one of its strongest performances to date.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on September 18 that 28,652 of 37,359 examinees passed the latest NLE. The Board of Nursing administered the examination across 26 testing centers nationwide.
With 2,908 more Fatimanians joining the nursing profession, OLFU continues to contribute qualified healthcare professionals to the country’s nursing workforce—equipped to uphold the University’s tradition of integrity, service, and excellence.
