First, in the May 2023 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (PNLE), Nathaniel N. San Andres achieved the 6th spot with a score of 90.40%; Susan Jillian Torre secured the 7th place with a score of 90.20%, and Alexis Nicole A. Gumolon closely followed in 8th place with a score of 90.00%.
On the other hand, in the April 2023 Philippine Nurses Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE), Vina B. Cuevas secured the Top 8th rank with a score of 82.40%. The SPLE caters to examinees based in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Al Ahmadi, Kuwait; Al-Khobar, Jeddah and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Doha, Qatar; Manama, Bahrain and Singapore.
San Andres and Torre are alumni of OLFU Valenzuela; Gumolon- of OLFU Antipolo, and Cuevas- of OLFU Quezon City.
OLFU’s exam takers displayed impressive passing rates by campus. In the PNLE, four campuses went beyond the national passing rate of 74.94% these are: the Pampanga Campus, who exemplified an 82.86% passing rate, Valenzuela- an 82.68%, Antipolo Campus- an 82.42%, and Quezon City- a 79.56%. Overall, OLFU recorded an average passing rate of 80.78%.
Meanwhile, in the SPLE, the Antipolo Campus achieved a 100% passing rate; Valenzuela-85.45%; Quezon City-82.35%, and Cabanatuan-68.18%. Combined, OLFU attained an average passing rate of 82.70%, surpassing the national passing rate of 67.10%.
