Last April 8 to 13, 2019 at the Valenzuela City Alert Center, twenty-six (26) College of Criminal Justice students from the Our Lady of Fatima University- Valenzuela Campus – who are new members of the Emergency-Fatima Action Teams on Rescue Services (E-FACTORS) – went through a six-day training on Emergency Preparedness under the tutelage of Valenzuela City Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (VCDRRMO) Chief Training Officer Roy E. Calingacion.

The Criminology students spearheaded by the OLFU sophomore student and new E-FACTORS president, Mars T. Pamolangue, engaged in hands-on training on Basic Emergency First Responder (BEFR), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Water Search and Rescue (WASAR) programs. The students were guided by E-FACTORS adviser, Alberto M. Alvarez.

This summer training is an organized annual activity based on the agreements between the VCDRRMO and OLFU’s College of Criminal Justice. The E-FACTORS is an active participant in the disaster preparedness activities orchestrated by the VCDRRMO.
