Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) lauds its newest academic achiever and the strong overall performance of its graduates in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), underscoring the University’s continued commitment to excellence in teacher education.
At the forefront of this year’s achievements is Jamaica Fernandez, LPT, a graduate of the Bachelor of Elementary Education program from OLFU Antipolo, who secured a Top 5 nationwide ranking in the Elementary Level examination. Fernandez attained a 93.80 percent rating, placing her among the country’s highest-performing examinees and highlighting the caliber of OLFU’s academic formation.
Beyond individual recognition, OLFU’s College of Education delivered strong and consistent results across its campuses. In the Elementary Level, OLFU Quezon City achieved a perfect 100 percent passing rate in both overall performance and among first-time takers, while OLFU Antipolo likewise posted a 100 percent passing rate among first-time takers, reinforcing the University’s strong showing in elementary education licensure outcomes.
At the Secondary Level, OLFU Valenzuela and OLFU Pampanga also exceeded national benchmarks, contributing to the institution’s favorable overall performance.
Collectively, the University recorded an 82.05 percent overall passing rate in the Elementary Level, significantly higher than the 56.08 percent national passing rate, while first-time takers achieved 93.33 percent compared to the 78.99 percent national benchmark. In the Secondary Level, OLFU posted an 83.81 percent overall passing rate against the national rate of 73.14 percent, while first-time takers achieved 92.13 percent compared to the nationwide benchmark of 86.56 percent.
In total, OLFU welcomed 123 newly licensed Elementary and Secondary Professional Teachers, further reflecting the University’s sustained emphasis on academic excellence, values formation, and professional readiness.
The latest results also reflect the College of Education’s sustained record of strong licensure performance in recent years. In the March 2025 LEPT, Fatimanian alumni registered several hundred-percent passing rates among first-time takers in both the Elementary and Secondary Levels across campuses with substantial examinee populations.
OLFU likewise sustained its momentum in the September and November 2025 LEPT examinations, with multiple campuses outperforming national passing rates in both overall performance and first-time taker categories, reinforcing the College’s consistent culture of academic excellence and licensure preparedness.
