Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) has recorded another significant achievement in pharmaceutical education, as its College of Pharmacy delivered a robust performance in the April 2026 Pharmacists Licensure Examination, reinforcing a pattern of sustained academic excellence across its campuses.

Leading the University’s latest cohort of successful examinees is Marianne Rovic Macatangay, RPh, who secured 8th place nationwide with a stunning rating of 93.08 percent. Macatangay, a graduate of the Valenzuela City Campus, anchors a performance that also saw the campus recognized as the Top 2 Performing School in Category B, posting an institutional passing rate of 84.62 percent.

Data released from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) further showed that all six participating OLFU campuses—Valenzuela City, Quezon City, Antipolo City, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, and Laguna—achieved passing rates exceeding national benchmarks, reflecting a system-wide consistency in licensure readiness.

Collectively, the University posted a 78.45 percent overall passing rate, significantly higher than the national passing rate of 57.26 percent. Among first-time takers, OLFU recorded a 91.45 percent passing rate, outperforming the national average of 70.39 percent. In total, 142 new pharmacists were added to the University’s growing roster of licensed professionals.

The latest results extend the momentum established in the November 2025 Pharmacists Licensure Examination, where OLFU likewise demonstrated a commanding presence. In that examination cycle, the University produced 399 newly licensed pharmacists and achieved a 94.31 percent passing rate among first-time takers and 90.07 percent overall—both markedly higher than national averages.

That earlier performance was distinguished by four topnotchers, whose impressive placements highlighted the strength of OLFU’s academic preparation across multiple campuses, with Valenzuela and Antipolo emerging as key contributors.

Taken together, these successive results underscore a sustained trajectory of excellence. OLFU’s College of Pharmacy has consistently exceeded national benchmarks and produced top-ranking examinees.

As OLFU continues to expand its academic footprint, the latest licensure outcomes reaffirm its standing among the country’s leading institutions in pharmaceutical education—defined not only by high passing rates, but by a consistent ability to produce graduates who excel at the highest levels of professional qualification.
