The Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) and Thailand’s Kasetsart University (KU) formalized a significant step toward international academic collaboration during an alignment meeting held on 23 March 2026 at Le Monet Café, OLFU Valenzuela Campus.

The meeting brought together key academic leaders from both institutions, including delegates from KU’s Faculty of Management Sciences led by Dr. Jumpoth Boriraj. The engagement marked the initial phase of a partnership anchored in shared institutional goals, innovation, and global academic engagement.

Representing OLFU, Dean Dr. Ignacio C. Cordova, Jr. led the delegation from the College of Business and Accountancy and College of Hospitality and Institutional Management (CBA/CHIM), underscoring the University’s commitment to advancing internationalization, industry-aligned programs, and academic excellence.
Discussions focused on potential areas of collaboration, including student exchange initiatives, internship programs, faculty mobility, and joint academic undertakings. Both institutions also explored opportunities for co-hosting scholarly platforms, notably the International Marketing Research Conference 2026 (InMaRkCon 2026), aimed at strengthening research engagement and thought leadership within the ASEAN region.

Through presentations and dialogue, OLFU and KU highlighted their respective academic strengths and ongoing initiatives designed to develop globally competent graduates. The exchange emphasized a shared vision of delivering transformative, experience-driven education responsive to international standards.

An open forum further facilitated the exchange of insights, reinforcing both institutions’ commitment to building a collaborative framework grounded in mutual trust, measurable outcomes, and long-term impact.

The meeting concluded with a ceremonial exchange of tokens, symbolizing the budding ties and a collective intent to sustain the partnership. University officials described the engagement as a foundational step toward deeper academic cooperation and cross-border knowledge exchange.
