The College of Nursing of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) has once again affirmed its standing as a national leader in nursing education, registering an exceptional performance in the November 2025 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE). The University produced ten outstanding topnotchers and 3,467 newly licensed nurses, the largest number of board passers among the 477 participating nursing schools across the Philippines.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on 27 November 2025, 40,692 examinees successfully passed the November NLE, with OLFU contributing 8.5 percent to the country’s new pool of registered nurses—an achievement unmatched by any other Philippine institution. This milestone reinforces OLFU’s long-held reputation as the country’s foremost producer of top-performing nursing graduates.

Ten Fatimanians in the national Top 10

OLFU’s robust showing is led by 10 alumni who secured spots in the topnotchers’ list:

Top 6 (92.80%)
• Therese Gabrielle Tivi, RN — Quezon City Campus

Top 7 (92.60%)
• Joshua Mae Macarasig, RN — Valenzuela City  Campus
• Dana Andreana Martin, RN — Antipolo City Campus

Top 8 (92.40%)

University-wide passing rates surpass national benchmark

Collectively, OLFU posted a 93.32 percent institutional passing rate, significantly higher than the already record-setting national passing rate (NPR) of 90.05 percent—the highest in NLE history, as reported by the PRC.

All participating OLFU campuses outperformed the national average:

  • 96.13% — Antipolo City Campus
  • 95.30% — Nueva Ecija Campus
  • 94.65% — Pampanga Campus
  • 93.80% — Quezon City Campus
  • 91.13% — Valenzuela City Campus

Continuing a tradition of excellence

This latest achievement builds on OLFU’s strong trajectory in recent board examinations. In May 2025, two OLFU alumni—Jemuel Kyle Bejar (Pampanga Campus) and Desiree Ann Abejero (Antipolo City Campus)—placed 6th and 9th nationwide, respectively, in the Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination. OLFU produced 571 new nurses during that cycle, representing 8.24 percent of the national total.

The University’s consistent top-tier performance extends further back. In November 2024, OLFU celebrated four topnotchers and posted exemplary first-time taker passing rates across all campuses, with the Nueva Ecija Campus achieving a perfect 100 percent.

A sustained legacy as ‘Home of the Topnotchers’

Regarded as one of the premier nursing institutions in the country, OLFU continues to cultivate highly competent, compassionate, and globally prepared Filipino nurses. Its successive triumphs in the national licensure examinations reflect the strength of its academic foundation, the rigor of its clinical training, and its mission to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s healthcare workforce.

With this indelible contribution, OLFU once again stands steadfast in shaping future leaders in healthcare—professionals equipped not only with expertise, but with the values of integrity, service, and excellence.
