Overview
The College of Medicine is one of the flagship colleges of the Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU). Since its inception in 1979, the College has continuously developed its way of teaching along with its acquisition of state-of-the-art learning resources and equipment to be able to provide the best quality education in the field of Medicine.
Understanding the wide diversity of its students’ needs, OLFU’s College of Medicine offers a variety of elective courses in the curriculum allowing students to extend their knowledge in special fields of interest.
INTERNATIONAL LINKAGES AND RECOGNITIONS
OLFU College of Medicine is fully accredited by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), allowing its fourth-year students to render their clerkship in accredited training hospitals in New York; as well as in hospitals under the jurisdiction of the Illinois State Board of Education, the Thailand Medical Council, and the Maldives Medical Council.
OLFU stands out as the first and only Philippine medical school with an institution-to-institution Clerkship Training Program in collaboration with foreign hospitals. Over 100 medical students from OLFU have participated in clinical clerkship training at institutions such as the Peninsula Hospital Center in New York, Jackson Park Hospital in Chicago, and Harbor Hospital in Baltimore.
In addition, OLFU College of Medicine is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (AVICENNA – formerly by WHO).

It is also noteworthy that OLFU is one among a few select schools to be granted the Certificate of Authority by the CHEd, allowing it to conduct limited face-to-face classes in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic; a testament to the University’s established and effective community safety protocols.

Get up to 100% SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE which includes tuition and miscellaneous fees, allowances, dorm & food stipend, and books!
Scholarship Benefits:
Qualified and selected scholars will be eligible for either one of the following:

• Academic Scholarship Grant
Leonora Juzgaya Olivares Foundation Grant
Benefits:
• Full Coverage on tuition and miscellaneous fees
• Lodging: Stay in university-sponsored dorm units, or receive a ₱5,000 monthly allowance if dorm spaces are unavailable.
• Food/Stipend Allowance: Receive a monthly stipend of ₱7,000.
• Book Provision: Necessary books are provided to support scholars’ studies
Academic Scholarship Grant
Benefits:
• Percentage-based Tuition Assistance based on academic performance
OLFU College of Medicine students get access to various international clerkship opportunities, such as those with hospitals run by the state of New York.
Eligibility:
• Be a natural-born Filipino citizen and an Incoming First-Year Medical Student
• Have an NMAT score of at least 40
• Fill out the OLFU Application Form
• Pay the Php 1,000 Application Fee*
• Take the Scholarship Exam
High preference for students with Latin Honors candidacy or an exceptional General Weighted Average (GWA), but is not required.
*Application fee is non-refundable
Scholarship exam will be given every second and fourth Saturday starting on February 8, 2025.
Leonora Juzgaya Olivares Foundation Grant
Pursue your dream to be a doctor! Be a Leonara Juzgaya Olivares Foundation Scholar at the Our Lady of Fatima University College of Medicine!
This scholarship, named after one of our esteemed founders, empowers financially challenged yet academically brilliant students to achieve their dream of becoming a doctor.
The grant includes a full tuition fee discount, free board and lodging, book allowance, and a monthly stipend.
Scholarship Benefits:
• Full Tuition Coverage
• Lodging: Stay in our university-sponsored dorm units, or receive an allowance of P5,000 per month if dorm spaces are unavailable.
• Food/Stipend Allowance: Receive a monthly stipend of P7,000 pesos.
• Book Provision: Necessary books are provided to support your studies

• Incoming applicant to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program
• Paid the ₱1,000 application fee
• Possess a valid NMAT score

Selection and Notification:
The Registrar’s Office will notify qualified applicants via email and/or SMS once results are approved by the Office of the University President.
