The Quezon City Campus of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) is the country’s Top 4th Performing School in the August 2025 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination (MTLE), after posting an impressive passing rate of 96.36 percent. Its first-time takers also delivered a topnotch performance with a 98.04 percent passing rate.

The recognition affirms the consistent excellence of OLFU’s College of Medical Laboratory Science (CMLS), which has now earned the Top Performing School distinction six times over four consecutive years since 2022.
Other OLFU campuses also delivered remarkable results. OLFU Laguna registered a flawless 100 percent passing rate for both overall and first-time takers. Similarly, OLFU Antipolo posted a perfect 100 percent passing rate for its first-time examinees, alongside an exceptional overall passing rate of 93.88 percent.
OLFU Pampanga followed with an outstanding 97.92 percent passing rate for first-time takers and an 85 percent overall performance—both well above the national passing rate. In Valenzuela, first-time and overall takers recorded 89.70 percent and 88.89 percent passing rates, respectively.
Across all campuses, OLFU attained an overall passing rate of 89.03 percent, significantly surpassing the national passing rate of 71.20 percent. First-time takers likewise excelled, registering a 92.76 percent passing rate against the national figure of 82.39 percent.
The August 2025 MTLE success follows OLFU’s strong performance earlier this year. In the March 2025 examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) recognized three OLFU campuses (Antipolo, Valenzuela, and Quezon City) as Top Performing Schools, after achieving passing rates of 96.08 percent, 95.56 percent, and 95.16 percent, respectively. Collectively, OLFU recorded a 91.07 percent passing rate across its campuses in that cycle, producing 418 new medical technologists.
This August, another 349 OLFU examinees successfully earned their licenses, further expanding the University’s alumni network of healthcare professionals.
Since 2022, OLFU’s College of Medical Laboratory Science has consistently stood among the nation’s strongest performers in the MTLE. Its sustained excellence underscores its commitment to producing globally competent, compassionate, and future-ready medical technologists prepared to contribute to the healthcare sector.
