The Philippine Association of Colleges and Pharmacy (PACOP) elected Dean Olive M. de Vera as their Executive Vice President (EVP). Dean de Vera is at the helm of the College of Pharmacy of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU). Her EVP role in PACOP covers the period of July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2023.

PACOP, in its website, espouses its vision to advance pharmacy education towards globalization; hence, their initiatives are geared at promoting “the highest standards of pharmacy education towards globalization”.

This development coincides with the newest coup of the College of Pharmacy when OLFU Antipolo was recently announced as the Top 8 Performing School in the June 2021 Pharmacist Licensure Examination of the Professional Regulation Commission.
Through the stewardship of Dean de Vera at OLFU and at PACOP, Pharmacy education in the Philippines is expected to align even more to worldwide standards positioning young Filipino learners and professionals in the international arena.
